Important
Do not use additives in fuel or lubricants.
Engine oil
A good quality engine oil has special properties. Use only a highly detergent engine oil with certified se, sf or sg or higher service ratings as marked on the container.

The other viscosity grades specified in the table can be used where the average ambient temperatures are within the limits shown.

Refitting the cooling system hoses and unions
Position the pump/radiator sleeve (22) and the radiator/radiator sleeve (23).
Fit sleeve (23) and sleeve (22) to their corresponding fittings (n) and (o), and
bring them fully home on collars (p).

Sleeves (23) and (22) must be oriented so that the grooves (q) match the
tabs (r) on fitt ...
Charging the battery
Before charging the battery, it is recommended to remove it
from the motorcycle.
Important
The battery is housed in the cowling, always contact
a ducati dealer or an authorised service centre for its
removal.

Refitting the fuel tank fairings
Make sure that the following components are fitted on the tank fairing (22):
Spacers (18);
Seals (20).
Fit the clips (19) to the central cover (22) at the positions shown,
inserting the tabs (h) into the slots (l).
Apply threadlocker to the screws (14).
Place the tank fairing (22) ...
