- Transport packaging integrity check (if required);
- Removal from the transport packaging (if required);
- Motorcycle integrity check;
- Check of the supplied kit completeness (refer to the parts list supplied
together with the bike packaging);
- Only if the bike is supplied in a crate: handlebar and controls
assembly; check of controls operation, freedom of
movements and any interference;
- Accessories assembly as of the customer order, and check of their
operation (for instance electric tank plug, anti-theft
system, gps, etc.);
- Battery start-up and fitting on the vehicle;
- Check of the tyres pressure:
- Front: 2.5 Bar (rider only) - 2.6 Bar (two ups and/or luggage);
- Rear: 2.5 Bar (rider only) - 2.6 Bar (two ups and/or luggage);
- Brake and clutch fluid check (top-up if necessary);
- Engine oil level check (top-up if necessary);
- Check of the operation of lighting devices, turn indicators and horn;
check of the adjustment of the headlight luminous
beam height;
- Check of the operation of the active and passive key and the rh/lh
steering lock;
- Throttle control operation check;
- Check of the front and rear wheel shaft tightening (front: 63 nm +/- 5% -
rear: 230 nm +/- 10%);
- Check the brake calliper retaining screws tightening (front: 45 nm +/- 5%
- rear: 25 nm +/- 5%);
- Fuel filling until the reserve warning light turns off (nearly 4 litres);
- Check of the operation of the kill switch and the side stand switch;
- Final and road test (abs trigger check and heated handgrips, if fitted);
- Vehicle cleaning;
- On-board documentation filling in (warranty card);

Removing of the rear wheel
Place the motorcycle on the rear service stand and engage the 1st gear.
Remove the clip (6).
Using a suitable socket wrench, loosen the wheel nut (1).
Fully unscrew the nut (1), then remove the washer (2) and the spacer (3).
Remove the rear wheel from the motorcycle.

Tips on how to select the sensitivity level
Warning
The 8 level settings of the dtc were calibrated using tyres of the
same make, model and size as those originally fitted to
the motorcycle.
The use of tyres of different size to the original tyres may alter the operating
characteristics of the system.
